11th Post on Queen Restaurant

8.7$$·407 reviews

The name is a wine. Eleventh Post is a Two Sisters Vineyards bottling, and the restaurant that borrows it sets out to carry that estate's hospitality off the vineyard and onto Queen Street, where most of Niagara-on-the-Lake's foot traffic actually moves. What lands there is more relaxed than the pedigree suggests — a dining room of polished comfort classics rather than a tasting showcase. A wine wall runs through it, but the plates stay within easy reach. 11th POST on Queen is the accessible front door to a serious wine family, the Two Sisters connection built into the visit rather than added as decoration.

The menu keeps that promise plain. The Burger is the casual centre, anchored further by a feature burger that rotates monthly, and around it sits a comfort range a table can navigate without negotiation — a Chicken Sandwich, Roasted Chicken, a Chicken Cobb Salad, BBQ Beef Nachos, Apple Crisp to finish. Steak Frites supplies the bistro backbone, familiar enough for a weeknight and composed enough to belong in a wine-country dining room. The Tuna Tartare is the sharper counterpoint, a lighter and more deliberate opening for a table starting with cocktails or a glass of the estate's own wine. Smoked Salmon and a tamarind salad fill out the lighter half, the side of the menu that leans toward a glass of white over a pint.

Why It’s on the Map

Three things this kitchen does the rest don’t

  1. 01

    Two Sisters Wine-Country Extension

11th POST is not a generic Queen Street dining room. Its identity is tied to Two Sisters Vineyards and the Eleventh Post wine, giving the restaurant a clear hospitality-family story before the menu even starts.

  2. 02

Comfort Classics with a Polished Room

The restaurant’s own menu frame is burgers, steaks, entree salads, and comfort foods, but the setting is more composed than a pub. That combination is the useful middle: casual orders in a wine-country room.

  3. 03

Weekly Features That Shape the Visit

The current features page gives diners real ways to plan: Sunday Brunch, Monday prix fixe date menu, weekday Happy Hour, weekend Late Night Bites, and Thursday feature-burger/$8 pint programming.
