In-house bread is the structural piece at The European Bakery Café — loaves baked through the morning become the bun under a BBQ Philly Beef at noon, the slice under Eggs Benedict at ten, and the carrier for Stan's Grilled Sandwich whenever the order comes in. At this address the bakery case and the kitchen line draw from the same pan, and the practical effect is that breakfast, lunch, takeout, and catering all read as variations on one craft rather than separate menus stitched together. Eight to four, daily, since 1994.

The breakfast lineup runs the Big Breaky — three eggs any style with bacon, ham, sausage, seasoned home fries, and toast — through Eggs Benedict, French toast, omelettes, and Belgian Waffles served three to a plate with optional Nutella, banana, or whipped cream. A Breakfast Veggie Wrap holds the vegetarian lane with scrambled eggs, spinach, tomato, salsa, and feta. Lunch turns to the sandwich case: the BBQ Philly Beef stacks eight-ounce Philly beef and cheddar with sauteed mushrooms and onions on a grilled crusty Italian bun, the Classic Reuben, Monte Cristo, and Turkey Club work as expected, and the Jalapeño Popper Grilled Cheese pushes a little. Stan's Grilled Sandwich and Stan's Mother are house creations the regulars order by name, alongside the Creamy Potato Bacon Soup when the kitchen has it on. Carrot cake, cherry cheesecake, butter tarts, and almond croissants sit in the case beside the bread, and the coffee bar pulls Americanos in single or double sizes for the eat-in customers and the walk-in pickups.
