Put six people in a car in Fonthill with mismatched appetites, and Domenic's On 20 is the answer that ends the argument. One wants a stone-baked pizza, another a plate of pasta, the kid wants breakfast at six in the evening, and someone is quietly holding out for prime rib — and the menu on Highway 20 East feeds all of them in a single sitting. That range is the premise, not the accident of a menu that simply got long. The doors open at eight every morning and the kitchen runs straight through, breakfast and lunch and a full dinner service under one roof, every day of the week.

The clearest way into the kitchen is the pizza board, where stone-baked pies on in-house dough and sauce run from a straightforward Meat Lovers to a Butter Chicken Pizza without apology. The one that explains the restaurant is the Philly Cheese Steak Pizza — thin-sliced beef, sautéed peppers and onions, and mozzarella, a sandwich-shop idea set on a pizza and entirely at home there. Around it sits the Italian-Canadian comfort core the place was built on: Chicken Parmesan, House Pasta Alfredo, Lasagna, and a Panzerotti folded thick enough to count as a meal on its own. Chicken Wings come breaded or plain and find their way to most tables. Dom's Extreme Burger is exactly the order its name promises.

Breakfast is its own reason to come, not a warm-up before the real menu arrives. The standout is Banana Bread French Toast — house-made banana bread dipped, grilled gold, and finished sweet — set alongside Eggs Benedict, a Bacon and Cheese Omelette, and the usual run of pancakes and waffles. Prime Rib appears only Friday and Saturday, carved to order and plated with vegetables, mashed potatoes, and Yorkshire pudding — a dinner with more ceremony than anything else on offer, and one some regulars build their week around. Sunday through Thursday the rhythm flips toward value: from four to nine in the evening, a second appetizer comes half-price with a drink, a small nudge that rewards the casual group over the special-occasion couple. The menu reads as broad. The week reads as structured. Someone who knows the place doesn't ask what's good so much as what day it is.

The dining room took its current shape in a 2019 renovation — bright, clean, and casual, with enough sports-bar in its edges to stay unfussy, a seasonal patio, and a private area that seats up to sixteen for a birthday or a team dinner. Local reporting has described it much the way a regular would: a clean and welcoming room, friendly service, hot food out quickly. None of it strains for atmosphere. A family can come in for a Sunday breakfast and the same group can return for a Friday prime rib without ever feeling like they have switched restaurants.

That is the quiet logic of a town restaurant. Fonthill is not large, and a place that wants to matter to it every day has to be more than one good idea — the pizza place and the breakfast place and the prime rib place at once, holding all three without letting any of them slip. Domenic's On 20 spreads itself wide on purpose, then leans on the calendar to give the week its shape. Saturday night, the prime rib comes off the carving board; Monday morning, the griddle is back on for the French toast. The restaurant just keeps the lights on through all of it.
